2013 Porsche Cayman Improved Performance Revealed


2013 Porsche Cayman became the next generation of Porsche to continue the fighting of 2012 Boxster for the sports car competition in the 2013 market. As a hardtop class, the new Cayman is a good start in the next summer selling. The platform is still with the flat-four as with the same base engine power train to supports its performance.

The power that generated by the engine reached 265-hp with the 2.9-liter and the flat-six for a hard terrain. The snowy road is also the last terrain to test with. The new 2013 Porsche Cayman can reach the peak performance at 320-hp with the 3.4-liter flat-six for the S series. The options for engine are a great thing in the Porsche cars.

The new transmissions also create a good handling on the new Cayman S series that has six-speed manual shifting. The other choice is the seven speeds PDK with the new dual-clutch automatic shifting. The issued design for the Cayman is it gets a longer wheelbase that will result to the longer rear windows. The basic design is mainly based on the Boxter concept with longer roofline on the new 2013 Porsche Cayman.
